  • Sounds Of Our Mothers' Mothers [SBRDN002] 12'' Vinyl 180gr
    Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

Subradeon returns to their self-titled imprint, Subradeon Records with three uplifting cuts entitled ‘Sounds Of Our Mothers’ Mothers’ including a remix from Exploration boss Johannes Volk.
Italian born, now Berlin-based duo Subradeon have been building a reputation for themselves honouring a techno sound that combines the soul of Motown with elements of hip hop, jazz, and funk. After releases on
Rekids and Motech Records, the duo maintain their vibrant productions with the second release on Subradeon Records. Germany’s Johannes Volk who is known for his releases Sistrum, Axis and his Exploration imprint jumps on remix duties following his recent release on Cocoon Recordings.
‘Sounds of Our Mothers’ Mothers’ kicks things off with resounding kicks gracefully fused with emphatic leads and inspiring vocal chants before ‘Rhythm Inside Rhythm’ employs vibrant synth waves, soulful grooves and bubbling atmospheres.
Punchy low frequencies, effervescent oscillations and soft chord progression make way for ‘Your Vision,Your Purpose’ until Johannes Volk’s remix of ‘Your Vision, Your Purpose’ rounds things off with shaky
percussion, thick washes of strings and energetic, funk-infused rhythms
